Requirement of Land for conducting Blessing Meetings

For the last 17 years, we have been conducting our Blessing Meetings at different locations as we do not have a land of our own. But, we have been continuously praying and seeking God’s intervention for purchasing land for constructing a prayer hall. Currently,we conduct our Blessing meetings in a school premises,for which, we have to pay a huge rent. However, the school authorities have been pressing hard on us to shift elsewhere and have given us ultimatum. As such, we are compelled to look out for land on ‘SOS’ basis as also the required funds to buy the land.

Many have sought and many more are seeking our Lord in all our Blessing meetings . It has, therefore, become very necessary for us to have our own place of worship.

The city of Poona has attained the grade of ‘Cosmopolitan City ‘and with increasing number of foreign IT companies wanting to do business from here,the rates of land have shot-up to ‘sky-high‘ during the last 5 years.

We are contemplating to buy only 40,000.00 sq.ft land. The prevailing market rate is between Rs.600-700 per sq.ft depending on the locations. Therefore, the total cost of the land would be approx. Rs.24 millions/Rs.28 millions (Indian Rupees).

We shall be glad to receive the financial support from the donors who have intense burden to invest in Lord’s ministry, The donations can be sent in part or full; one-time or in pledged installments,as is suitable to the donors.

We are also keeping an option open, i.e.If someone could urgently donate us 25% towards the cost of the land ,we are willing to take a loan of 75% ,so that we can buy the land out- right. We will repay the loan amount in easy installments. This way, we will be able to shift to the new land & start our meetings without any further delay. Our immediate plan, is to erect a temporary shed, start the meetings and to over come the present situation.

The donations received will be exclusively spent on purchase of land. Once this is done, a temporary shed will be erected on the land, where we can have our regular Blessing meetings without any hindrance.

The donations received by us are exempt under 80G of Income Tax Act 1961 i.e. donations made to Jesus Is Lord Trust will be eligible to the benefit of deduction u/s. 80 G of the I.T., Act 1961 in the hands of the donors.
